The Compumedics Services Advantage - The Four Phases
Phase 1 - New Business/Sleep Lab Startup
- Assist with lab design to best utilize space – particularly to use the same space during the day for other medical practice operations
- Assist in lab design to meet local code
- Ensure lab design meets national lab accreditation requirements
- Assistance with marketing of lab
- Provide PSG diagnostic equipment, computer systems
- Assist with any local or state department of health licensure requirements
- Assist with preparation of required CMS forms for IDTF’s
Phase 2 – Installation and Staffing
- Supervise installation process of furniture, diagnostic testing systems, computer systems
- Assist with staffing process to have night techs hired and trained (CSS can hire and provide the technicians or they may be your employees)
- Configure sleep diagnostic systems for efficient operation
- Setup up advanced lab management system and remote data access system
- Coordinate training of sleep technicians
- Implementation of Policies and Procedures
- Verify access for Scoring Service
Phase 3 – Opening for business
- Marketing assistance to increase referrals
- Supervise first weeks of operation
- Verify workflow management from Scheduling to Report Generation
- Ensure billing processes are setup to maximize reimbursement
- Perform QA Review
Phase 4 – Maintenance and Growth
- Focus on maintaining high utilization of sleep lab
- Work with sleep tech staff to achieve high level of competency
- Maintain Quality Assurance program
- Pursue lab accreditation
- Investigate opportunities for Growth
